Teller Transaction Reversal Rights Now Role-Based

We’ve enhanced the teller transaction reversal process by introducing role-based permissions, allowing authorized tellers to reverse transactions done by other tellers.

Previously:
Only the originating teller could reverse a transaction they posted, which limited flexibility —especially when the original teller was unavailable and accountability.

Authorized tellers with the appropriate role permission can reverse transactions on behalf of other tellers, streamlining error correction and improving service continuity.
This improvement provides SACCOs and financial institutions with greater operational flexibility, reduces reversal delays, and maintains proper internal control by ensuring that only authorized personnel can perform reversals beyond the original teller.
The marker checker functionality is set on the superadmin side.

Steps on how to set the marker checker.

1. At the top, click on Configurations.

2. Under markerchecker click on Request Teller TransactionReversal and save.
