Common pitfalls & FAQ
What is the difference between the Saving Report and the Snapshot? The Saving Report and the Beyond Policy Limits report cover activity over a date range. The Snapshot shows the balance position as at a single date.
Which report shows accounts that broke the rules? Use the Saving Beyond Policy Limits Report. It lists only accounts whose balance goes past the policy ceiling.
My report is empty. Check the date filter first. A range with no transactions, or a snapshot date before accounts opened, returns no rows.
The totals look too small. You may have a single branch selected. Change the branch filter to cover all branches, then run it again.
Can I open the report in Excel? Yes. Click Export and the file downloads so you can open it in your spreadsheet program.
