• A phone using the number registered with your SACCO.
• A USSD PIN set up — see Set or reset your USSD PIN.

Step-by-step

Here's an example of taking a QuickLoan:

1. Dial 38425611#. The main menu opens.
2. Reply 3 for QuickLoan and send.
3. Follow the prompts: you'll see how much you're eligible for, then enter the amount you want.
4. Confirm with your PIN. If approved, the money is sent and you'll get a confirmation message.

Note: QuickLoan amounts depend on your eligibility, which the SACCO works out for you. The exact prompts vary, but the order is: QuickLoan → amount → confirm.

Common pitfalls & FAQ

• It won't let me borrow more. QuickLoan is capped by your eligibility — you can't go above the amount offered.
• I'm not eligible. Eligibility builds with your savings and repayment history. Keep saving and repaying on time, and ask your SACCO what's needed.
• When do I repay? A QuickLoan has a short term — check the due date in the confirmation. You can repay early; see Repay a loan by USSD.
• "Session expired." Dial 38425611# again and move quickly through the steps.
