About 2 minutes · 5 steps.

Prerequisites

  • An admin login with access to the Accounting module.
  • The date range you want to report on.

Step-by-step

  1. Sign in to CAMS Admin. If you are not sure how, see How to sign in and navigate CAMS Admin.
  2. In the left menu, open Accounting and click Reports. The Accounting Reports screen lists every report in one place.

  1. Click the report you need. The main ones are:
  • Trial Balance (and Comprehensive / Monthly Trial Balance) — every ledger's debit and credit totals.
  • Income Statement — your profit and loss for the period.
  • Financial Position — the balance sheet.
  • Ledger Statement and General Ledger Book — the detailed entries behind a ledger.
  • Cash Flow Statement, Cash Book, Journal Book, and Reconciliation.
  1. Set the date range and any other filters the report offers, then generate it.
  2. Use Export to download the report as a PDF, Excel file, or CSV. To print, export to PDF and print from your PDF viewer.

Common pitfalls & FAQ

  • A report looks empty. Check the date range first — most blank reports are for a range with no transactions.
  • Which report balances the books? The Trial Balance is the quickest check: total debits should equal total credits.
  • Statement vs report. A member's account statement lives on the member's profile. These accounting reports cover the whole SACCO's books.
  • No print button? Export to PDF, then print from your PDF viewer.
