- Enough savings to cover the amount you want to withdraw.
- The mobile-money or bank details where you want the money sent.
Step-by-step
- Sign in and tap your group. You'll see your dashboard.
- Under Savings, tap Withdraw. The Withdraw form opens.

- Under Saving Account, choose the account to take money from.
- In Enter amount, type how much you want to withdraw.
- Under Account Type, choose where the money should go (for example, mobile money).
- Under Payment Provider, choose your provider (for example, MTN or Airtel).
- (Optional) Add a Description, then tap Withdraw. You'll see a confirmation, and the money is sent to the destination you chose.
Note: Depending on your SACCO, a withdrawal may need staff approval before it pays out, so it might not arrive instantly.
Common pitfalls & FAQ
- The Withdraw button is greyed out. Fill every field marked with
* — account, amount, account type, and payment provider — and it turns on.
- It won't let me withdraw the amount. You can't take out more than your available savings. Check your balance in My Contributions and try a smaller amount.
- My provider isn't in the list. Only the providers your SACCO supports appear. If yours is missing, contact the SACCO.
- I withdrew but haven't received the money. It may be waiting for approval, or the provider is still processing. If it's still missing after a while, contact the SACCO with the date and amount.
