Prerequisites
A phone using the number registered with your SACCO.
Reply with your SACCO's number (for example 5) and send.
On your SACCO menu, choose what you want to check:
1. Saving — your savings balance
2. Shares — your shares
3. Loan — what you still owe on a loan
Follow the prompt (enter your PIN if asked). Your balance shows on screen.
Note: Your SACCO's menu may show a separate "balance" choice inside each option — pick that. The path is always: SACCO menu → Saving / Shares / Loan → balance.
Common pitfalls & FAQ
The balance looks wrong. A recent deposit or repayment can take a few minutes to show. Check again shortly; if it's still off, contact your SACCO.
"Session expired." Dial 38425611# again and move quickly through the menus.
What's the difference between savings and shares? Savings is money you pay in and take out; shares are your stake in the SACCO. They have separate balances.
