Summary

About 1 minute · 4 steps. Also called: USSD, shortcode, dial code, feature phone, no internet, star-hash code.
Prerequisites
Any mobile phone, using the phone number you registered with your SACCO.
No internet, data bundle, or app needed — USSD works on every phone.
Step-by-step
Open your phone's dialer, type 38425611#, and press call. A menu opens on your screen.
Read the menu. It lists the shared services and the SACCOs on this code:
1. Pay to Account
2. Pay to Reference Number
3. QuickLoan
4. Church Pay
5. Oscar UG Pre Prod Saccos (your SACCO)
6. Large Data Sacco
To open your SACCO, reply with its number — for example 5 — and send.
Your SACCO menu opens: 1. Saving, 2. Shares, 3. Loan, 4. Create / Reset PIN. Reply with the number for what you want to do — see Your SACCO menu on USSD.
Note: The first time you use USSD, set your PIN with 4. Create / Reset PIN before anything else.
Tip: USSD menus close after a short wait. If you see "session expired", just dial 38425611# again and reply a bit quicker.
Common pitfalls & FAQ
"This session has expired." USSD waits only a short while for each reply. Dial again and pick your options without long pauses.
I don't see my SACCO in the list. Your phone number must be the one registered with the SACCO. If it's wrong, ask the SACCO to update it.
Nothing happens when I dial. Check you typed the full code, including the leading * and trailing #, and that you have network signal.
Do I need airtime or data? No. USSD itself doesn't use data, though your SACCO may charge a small session fee.
