How to sign in to the member app

Sign in to the Wakandi member app to see your savings, loans, and shares, and to apply for a loan.

Prerequisites

• The Wakandi member link for your SACCO. Your SACCO gives you this — it opens in any web browser on your phone or computer.
• Your registered phone number and password. If you don't have a password yet, use Forgot password on the sign-in screen to set one.

Step-by-step

1. Open your SACCO's Wakandi member link in a web browser. You'll see the Login screen with a phone number box and a Password box.
2. Enter your phone number. The country code (for example +256) is already filled in, so type only the rest of your number.
3. Type your Password, then tap Login. You'll see Your Groups.
4. Tap the group you want to open. You'll see your dashboard with your savings, loans, and shares.

Note: If you belong to only one SACCO, you may go straight to the dashboard without choosing a group.

Common pitfalls & FAQ

• I don't have a password. Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen and follow the steps to set one. You'll need access to your registered phone number.
• My login fails. Check that the phone number is the one you registered with the SACCO, and that the password is correct. Leave out the leading zero — the country code already stands in for it.
• I only see "Your Groups", not my money. That screen lists the groups you belong to. Tap your group to open its dashboard.
• Which number do I use? The phone number your SACCO has on file for you. If it changed, ask the SACCO to update it.
