Transaction Processing with Unique Client ID
To improve security, accuracy, and efficiency, we have transitioned from using account numbers and phone numbers for transactions to a streamlined method based on each client’s unique numerical ID.
The numerical ID is recorded under the Reference Number in the Member Details page and is now used for all deposit and repayment transactions, ensuring precise fund allocation.
Fund Allocation Logic
- ✅ Automatic Deposit to Savings Account: If a client has no active loan or has overpaid all loans, funds will be automatically deposited into their Savings Account (if available).
- ✅ Need Attention State: If a client has neither a savings nor a loan account, the transaction will be flagged as “Need Attention” for manual review.
- ✅ Multiple Loan Handling: If a client has multiple loans, the system will prioritize repayment to the loan with the most overdue installments to prevent penalties.
- ✅ Primary Savings Account Selection: If a client has more than one Savings Account, deposits will be allocated to the Primary Account as designated in the Savings Product configuration.
How to Review “Need Attention” Transactions
To review flagged transactions:
1️⃣ Go to the Transactions tab in CAMS.
2️⃣ Filter transactions by status: “Need Attention.”
3️⃣ Select a transaction and review the client’s account details.
4️⃣ Take corrective action (e.g., adding a Savings Account where none exists).

Additionally, if a client has multiple savings accounts, deposits will be directed to the primary savings account, as designated in the Savings Product Configuration.
