Backdating Loan Disbursement Transactions:

Backdated loan disbursements now shows the correct date in CAMS ensuring loan repayment schedule accurately reflects backdated transactions. The DEMO below will show the steps too (especially when viewed in fullscreen).

The following are the steps on how to execute the new feature;

  • Go to Transactions menu and select Teller.
  • Under account type select Loan
  • Under Transaction type select Disburse
  • Under Debit account select the loan you would wish to disburse
  • Under Transaction date, backdate the date using the calendar to the desired date
  • Select the credit account and submit
