How to Top Up Wakandi Business Account

WBA is a billing and payment method for the Wakandi system.

Initiating Top Up from the Admin Panel

One must have the permissions and roles needed for an account to be able to initiate top up or view section of business account button.

1. Log in to Wakandi CAMS
2. Click on Business Account from the sidebar menu.

Access business account. Click on Add Funds.

3. Click on Add Funds button for a form to be filled in.  
4. Insert the required details of the Admin phone number to receive the prompt. 

Fill in the Amount, Payer (Phone Number), choose Provider attach message and click Submit.

5. A pop up will appear on the Payer phone asking for PIN to confirm payment of WBA top up.

A confirmation notification will pop up after you initiate the transaction.

6. Fill in the right PIN on your phone and a notification to verify success of process will be received.
7. The WBA balance shown in the Admin Panel will be updated.

What is the process for using USSD?

  • Dial *185*4*9# on your mobile device  
  • Business Number: 4342709
  • Input the Amount. 
  • Reference: Wakandi. 
  • Enter your PIN to complete the transaction. 

As an admin who has done this payment, you need to reach out to a Wakandi Support officer and update them on initiating this. Share the requested information (like Transaction ID, Payer Phone number…)

  • After the transaction is successful access the Super Admin Panel. (as Wakandi Support officer)  
  • Click on the Accounts under Business Accounts button from the side menu. 
  • Search for the Credit Union and click into the name.  
  • Under the Details section, scroll down.  
  • Click on Update Balance button.  
  • Fill in the details for the form i.e. Provider, Payer, Transaction ID etc.  
  • Click Submit and you will receive notification for updated balance upon successful completion.
