How do I add guarantors to a Loan?

Loan guarantors needs to be added during the loan application process.

1. Log in to the Wakandi Admin Panel.

2. Go to Accounts and choose the submenu Applications
3. Click the loan application you want to add guarantors on.
4. Click Edit and scroll down to the Guarantor section.
5. Choose between a Self Guarantee, another member’s guarantee, or a non-member’s guarantee.
If some or all options are unavailable, the credit policy on the loan product does not require them.
6. Fill in the conditions of the guarantee, and click Save.

Self-Guarantee: Choose the client’s account and whether it should be a fixed amount or a portion of the loan amount.
Click the + icon to add more amounts to be blocked.
Guarantee by other members: Choose the other client’s name and whether the guarantee should be a fixed amount or a portion of the loan amount. Then, choose which account holds the funds and whether it should be blocked or not.
Guarantee by a non member: Enter the guarantors details and whether the guarantee should be a fixed amount or a portion of the loan amount.
