reconcile requests approval
A reconcile request is a request created by a teller at the end of the day for review of all transactions and balancing records. This request helps to keep tellers’ balances in check and generate good accounting reports. The reconcile report shows in detail all of the tellers’ transactions. This will aid the admin in approving or rejecting the tellers’ reconcile request.
1. Log in to the Wakandi Admin Panel.
2. From the side menu select Ledgers..
3. Click on Reconcile from the dropdown menu.
4. You should be able to view the tellers account number and name and balance for the day,
5. For a more detailed view click on tellers name, to view all transactions teller has made, you can also download the report for further inspection using the download button.
6. After reviewing tellers transactions, Now you can review the tellers reconcile request.
7. Go to Requests from the side menu.
8. From here you should be able to view the open request created by the teller, Click on the view icon to review the request.
9. From here you can review request type, requestor and amount for reconcile. Before approving the request be sure the amount on teller reconcile report matches the amount written on the request.
10. Now you can approve or reject the request by clicking the buttons available.
11. Incase you approved the request and the amount is does not match to tellers balance you will receive an error message warning you of the mismatch. Next you can proceed to ask teller to make the error corrections and update the request with correct amount.
12. If the amount is correct, You have completed teller’s reconciliation for the day
