Standing Instructions arrive, and a loan top-up overhaul

Planned for: 27 October 2026

Plans can change between now and release day. Anything below can move to a later build.

Summary

CAMS auto debit is replaced with Standing Instructions, configurable rules starting with Quick Loan repayments swept from savings on their due date, and a loan top-up overhaul separates principal and interest and captures top-up fees correctly, alongside a cluster of loan and savings balance corrections.

Coming soon

  • CAMS auto debit is replaced with Standing Instructions, starting with Quick Loan repayments auto-deducted from savings on their due date, configurable per institution.
  • A loan top-up overhaul fixes interest handling, captures top-up fees correctly, and separates principal and interest during a top-up.
  • A member will be allowed more than one active loan application before the first is approved, where permission or SACCO policy allows it.
  • Duplicated online withdrawals and disbursements from a single initiation will be fixed.
  • New loans will no longer be wrongly blocked when a member's savings appear insufficient to guarantee them.
  • Savings balances will no longer be miscalculated because of amounts held as loan guarantees.
