Maker/Checker Workflow and Transaction Control Enhancements
This feature introduces a mandatory review process to ensure that no single user can independently initiate, approve, or complete significant transactions or changes.
Workflow and Approval Levels:

- General Ledger Postings/Entries:
- Transactions will now be submitted for review and remain in an “Unapproved” state until a supervisor approves or rejects them.

- Approval Levels on Disbursements/Payments via Teller:
- Two-Tier Approval: Initiators of disbursements and payments will require approval from a secondary user. The initial user submits the transaction, and a designated approver must review and finalize it.
- Permissions and Roles:
- Defined Roles: Permissions for initiators and approvers will be clearly defined to ensure that no single user can complete transactions or record changes alone.
- Workflow Integration: The system will enforce these roles and workflows to enhance oversight and control.
Once the teller processes a transaction, it is queued under Request menu awaiting approval.

Steps to set maker checker for teller transactions
1. Maker checker for teller transactions is configured from the supper admin side under configurations as shown below.
2. The admin is required to set the predefined limits, including a maximum amount threshold for teller deposits and withdrawals. Transactions exceeding this threshold will require supervisor approval before processing as shown below.
Click on settings then under settings click on teller then edit the specific teller.
3. Any teller transaction made and submitted will await approval by the assigned admin.
4. The assigned admin will see the request under the ‘Request’ section as shown below.
5. The assigned admin is required to open the request and either approve or reject it, as shown below.
By following the above steps, you will have successfully set up a maker-checker for teller transactions.
