1️⃣ Smarter, More Informative Narration Field
We’ve revamped the narration structure to include rich, context-packed details. Now, each transaction narration in the General Ledger will include:
- 👤 Member Name
- 🆔 Account Number
- 🌐 Source or Origin of the Transaction
- 🔄 Transaction Type (e.g., Deposit, Loan Repayment, Withdrawal)
- 💳 Transaction Mode (e.g., Mobile Money, Bank Transfer, Cash)
These additions provide instant clarity on every entry, removing the guesswork from your financial reviews.
2️⃣ Visible in “View Transaction”
When reviewing a transaction, you’ll now find this enhanced narration right under the Narration field in the View Transaction section. This makes it easier than ever to verify and trace details with precision.
3️⃣ Improved Downloads: Now With a Narration Column
All downloaded General Ledger files now include a dedicated Narration column. This means:
- 📥 Every exported report is now more informative.
- 🧾 You get clear, complete descriptions at a glance.
- ✅ Easier audit trails and reporting for your team.
