demo data cleanup, and cash/bank settings move into Accounting

Planned for: 15 October 2026

Plans can change between now and release day. Anything below can move to a later build.

Summary

Ten items are planned. An Admin will be able to wipe an institution's demo transactions before going live while keeping its setup and products, and separate Cash/Bank account settings in CAMS are being folded into Accounting's own ledger settings, alongside a run of admin, loan and member app fixes.

Coming soon

  • An Admin will be able to clear out a tenant's demo transactions before going live, with a confirmation step showing exactly what will be deleted and what will be kept, so setup, products and client records carry over unchanged.
  • Cash and bank account setup will move into Accounting's ledger settings instead of being configured separately in CAMS, removing a source of mismatched configuration.
  • Maker-Checker approval requests will be filtered to the approver's own branch, fixing a "Client not found" error when approving a request raised in another branch.
  • A teller withdrawal will be blocked when the paying bank or mobile money balance is zero, instead of letting the balance go negative.
  • An order stuck in Pending after a payment provider or other integrated service times out will be automatically retried, instead of needing a manual fix.
  • A member app login will no longer fail with an unreadable "undefined" error when the host account's phone number does not match the member record, at an institution in Kenya.
  • The member app's Repay screen will show a clear message instead of "no current outstanding amount" when repayment details fail to load, at an institution in Kenya.
  • SACCOs with branches will be able to post branch-level incomes and expenses separately in Accounting.
  • A set of mobile app security hardening fixes from this year's security audit is planned.
  • A newly imported member will be able to log into the mobile app right away, instead of seeing a "User does not exist" error.
