a stuck-payment fix, and a Quick Loan wallet safeguard
Planned for: 13 October 2026
Plans can change between now and release day. Anything below can move to a later build.
Summary
An online payment that gets stuck mid-process will be automatically recovered and credited instead of leaving a confirmed payment uncollected, and a Quick Loan wallet's balance will be protected while a settlement is in progress, alongside a cluster of loan closure fixes and a run of smaller improvements.
Coming soon
- An online collection payment that gets stuck mid-process will be automatically recovered and credited, instead of leaving a confirmed payment uncollected.
- A Quick Loan wallet's balance will be reserved while a settlement is in progress, so it can no longer be spent before the settlement completes.
- A fully paid loan will auto-close instead of staying marked Overpaid, and the installment schedule will stop showing a negative balance after a backdated repayment with a waived charge.
- A group member without direct SACCO registration will be assignable a branch, so their loan repayments can be processed at the teller.
- The Guarantor report will support filtering to a single guarantor.
- Switching the financial year in Accounting will be able to apply to just the user doing it, instead of moving every other user in the SACCO to that year too.
- A bulk SMS sent from a message template will no longer send literal placeholder text instead of the recipient's actual name.
- A migrated loan account incorrectly showing a negative outstanding balance, which blocks repayments, will be corrected.
- Editing a loan policy charge configured as a percentage will no longer be blocked by an incorrect fixed-fee display.
- A sector picked on a loan application will show correctly on the Loan Summary once the loan is approved, instead of a blank value.
