a postpaid invoicing fix, and a new reconciliation report
Planned for: 8 October 2026
Plans can change between now and release day. Anything below can move to a later build.
Summary
Nine items are planned, one of them already done. An order that actually failed while processing will no longer be left marked as completed, which could otherwise result in an institution being invoiced under postpaid billing for an order that never went through, and a new report reconciling CAMS against Wakandi Accounting is planned, alongside a run of smaller fixes.
Already done
- A Quick Loan no longer falls back to the wrong assignee when no admin matches the credit policy's default branch role; it now auto-approves with no assignee, as expected.
Coming soon
- An order that fails during processing will no longer be left marked as completed, so it can no longer be invoiced under postpaid billing as if it had gone through.
- A new report reconciling CAMS against Wakandi Accounting is planned, starting with a year-wise portfolio balance by product.
- The member app will stop showing a "Guarantors are not required" message on a Quick Loan product whose credit policy actually requires guarantors.
- Super-admin accounts and addresses on a blocked email domain will no longer be assignable as a SACCO's admin user.
- A CAMS transaction will no longer be left stuck in "posted" status when the accounting post behind it fails.
- The Quick Loan eligibility a member is shown will reflect their actual policy-computed eligible amount, not the credit policy's maximum.
- Work continues on giving each SACCO account its own dedicated USSD and WhatsApp channel.
