Quick loan repayments over USSD go to the right wallets

Quick loan repayments over USSD go to the right wallets

Released: 10 September 2026

Summary

Quick loan repayments made through USSD now split correctly between the collection and disbursement wallets, with fees deducted from the fees wallet. A new reconciliation report identifies loans that are closed, rescheduled or topped up but still have blocked guarantor or collateral funds. A run of other fixes lands too, covering a general ledger search, a stuck repayment, loan documents in the redesigned admin view, campaign details, invoice price checks and convenience fee collection.

What's new

  • Quick loan repayments made through USSD now correctly split the deposit between the collection and disbursement wallets and deduct fees from the fees wallet.
  • A new reconciliation report identifies loans that are closed, rescheduled or topped up but still have blocked guarantor or collateral funds.
  • Searching for a general ledger code when assigning one to a stuck online transaction works correctly again, as seen at an institution in Kenya.
  • A repayment that got stuck after interest was recalculated using a different rate than the original schedule now completes correctly.
  • Loan documents in the redesigned admin view are attached to the correct loan again.
  • Active Campaign details show which filters, membership policy, product and multiplier were used when the campaign was created.
  • Checking a price discrepancy on an invoice only shows price versions linked to that product or service.
  • Convenience fee collection for online payments is handled more reliably, with any fee that could not be collected immediately shown in Outstanding Fees.

What this means for you

Run the new reconciliation report for blocked guarantor and collateral funds. If it lists loans that are already closed, rescheduled or topped up, release those funds so members and guarantors get their money back.
