Figure 1: The More screen: the left menu lists Your Groups, Language, Documents, Bank Details and MNO Details, with the Language panel open showing English, Swahili and Hindi
Then, what each option does:
- Your Groups. Takes you back to the group list, so you can open another SACCO you belong to.
- Language. Choose the app language: English, Swahili or हिन्दी (Hindi). Tap the one you want.
- Documents. The papers held on your account, such as the identity documents your SACCO has on file.
- Bank Details and MNO Details. The bank account and mobile-money numbers on file (MNO means Mobile Network Operator, like MTN or Airtel). Withdrawals are sent to these.
Note: Keep Bank Details and MNO Details up to date — wrong details can delay your money.
Common pitfalls & FAQ
- The app changed language and I can't read it. Tap More, then Language, and choose English again.
- My details were changed, but the old value still shows. A change to bank or mobile-money details goes to your SACCO as a request. The new value appears once a staff member approves it.
- My withdrawal went to the wrong place. Check Bank Details and MNO Details. If either is wrong, ask your SACCO to update it before the next payout.
- Documents is empty. Your SACCO hasn't uploaded anything yet. Ask which papers they need and bring your identity documents when you visit.
