How to sign in to the member app

Try it on your phone — a real, hand-built simulation of the Member App below. Nothing you do here touches a real account. Watch this flow to see it end to end, or tap through it yourself.

Summary

Sign in to the Wakandi member app to see your savings, loans and shares. About 3 minutes · 7 steps. Also called: log in, member login, one-time code, OTP, M-PIN.

Prerequisites

  • The free Wakandi app, installed from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iPhone).
  • The phone number your SACCO registered for you — you'll receive a one-time code by SMS to that number.
  • A 6-digit M-PIN you choose the first time you sign in (or already have, if you've signed in before).

Step-by-step

The app shows the accounts your SACCO holds for you and carries your requests: pay in, withdraw, borrow, repay. Your SACCO keeps the records; the app is your view of them.

  1. Open the Wakandi app and choose your country.
  2. Enter the phone number your SACCO registered for you and tap Send OTP.
  3. Enter the one-time code sent to that number by SMS.
  4. The first time you sign in, choose a 6-digit M-PIN — you'll use this instead of the code on future visits. If you already have an M-PIN, enter it here instead. Your dashboard opens.
  5. Under My Savings and Credits, tap the SACCO or group you want. That SACCO's accounts open straight away.
  6. Your SACCO's dashboard opens, showing your loans, savings and shares.

Note: If you belong to more than one SACCO or group, you'll do step 5 again to switch between them — you don't need to sign in from scratch each time.

The rest of this course: a tour of the dashboard, then saving — pay in, withdraw and view — and your shares. Then borrowing: a Quick Loan, a SACCO loan, and repaying. Finally your profile and settings.

Common pitfalls & FAQ

  • I didn't get a code. Make sure the number matches what your SACCO has on file, and check your signal. Ask your SACCO to confirm your registered number if it's changed.
  • I forgot my M-PIN. Contact your SACCO — they can help you regain access.
  • The app signed me out on its own. An idle session closes after a while for your security. Sign in again to continue.

Warning: If you lose your phone, tell your SACCO straight away so they can protect your account. Never share your M-PIN or one-time code with anyone.
