Summary
A tour of the member app's two dashboards — the one you land on after signing in, and the one each SACCO opens to — so you know where to see your savings, loans and shares, and where to act. About 5 minutes · 9 steps. Also called: home screen, member dashboard, overview.
Prerequisites
- You can sign in. New here? Start with How to sign in to the member app.
Step-by-step
- Open your SACCO's member link and sign in. Your dashboard opens straight away — this one is shared across every SACCO and group you belong to.
- Your name and quick actions (top). A welcome header with your name, and three quick actions — Apply loan, Repay, Deposit — to jump straight into a task.
- Promo carousel and Offers. A rotating promo carousel — it might show a loan offer or a prompt to deposit savings — then an Offers list surfacing things your SACCOs are currently running, such as a Quick Loan.
- My Savings and Credits. The SACCOs and groups you belong to.
- Tap a SACCO under My Savings and Credits — or a quick action, or an offer. Either way, that SACCO's own dashboard opens.
- Your details (top). Your name and Member ID. Tap the row for your Reference Number and membership status, your Branch and KYC status, and your phone and email on file. Give the Reference Number whenever you pay in by mobile money or bank, so the SACCO knows whose account to credit.
- Quick actions — Apply loan, Repay, Deposit, Withdraw — and a Quick Loan card. Deposit pays money in and Withdraw asks for money out. See How to contribute to your savings and How to withdraw from your savings. Apply loan, Repay and the Quick Loan card each have their own lessons later in this course.
- Loans, Savings and Shares, then Recent transactions. Your accounts for this SACCO, grouped by type — each row opens its own detail screen, covered in later lessons — followed by a list of your latest activity.
- Bottom tabs. Home returns to your first dashboard; Profile holds your language, PIN and sign-out settings, plus your documents and bank/mobile-money details a tap further in — see Settings: language, documents, bank and mobile-money details; Notifications shows alerts.
Note: Balances can take a few minutes to catch up after a payment. Refresh the page if an amount looks behind.

Common pitfalls & FAQ
- I don't see one of these on a dashboard. Both dashboards show only what your SACCO offers. No Quick Loan product means no Quick Loan card, and so on.
- What do CR and DR mean? CR is money in your favour, such as savings or shares. DR is what you owe, such as a loan balance.
- I'm seeing the wrong SACCO's money. Tap Home at the bottom to get back to your first dashboard, then pick the right one under My Savings and Credits.
