Coming: sessions that hold and verification that works, 6 August 2026

Expected: 6 August 2026 · Build: 26.08.02 · Planned release

Plans can change. This note describes work planned for an upcoming release. Some of it is still being built, so what ships on the day may differ from what is listed here, and dates can move.

Summary

This release is about staying signed in and getting members through verification. Sessions that end while someone is still working are being fixed, and members who verify with a one-time password will be recognised properly. Our support team gains more tools to resolve requests directly, and there is a run of corrections across loans, imports and landing pages.

Highlights

You will stay signed in while you work. Users at some institutions are being signed out mid-task. The fix covers the admin portal, CAMS Admin and the service behind them.

Members verified by one-time password will be recognised. Members who verify by OTP have been meeting a "user does not exist" error. That is being corrected, so verification completes first time.

Support will be able to resolve more requests directly. Merging duplicate member records, deleting a savings account, updating a member's contact details, and correcting a top-up transfer amount will be handled with purpose-built tools rather than a change request.

Also improving

Loans

  • Backdating a top-up will be possible. Administrators will be able to set the date a top-up should count from.
  • Written-off loans will not accept a repayment on the write-off date. The missing check on the teller screen is being added.
  • Quick loan decisions will read a member's saving history correctly. A member who has been saving will not be rejected on activity grounds.

Transactions

  • Transfers that cannot currently be reversed will be reversible.
  • Transactions stuck in submitted will complete.
  • A fee payment that has been made will stop showing as due.

Members and landing pages

  • Landing pages will show your own currency. Pages and templates showing the wrong country's shillings are being corrected.
  • Administrator phone numbers and codes will be editable.
