Coming: withdraw from your phone, documents your way, 11 August 2026

Expected: 11 August 2026 · Build: 26.08.03 · Planned release

Plans can change. This note describes work planned for an upcoming release. Some of it is still being built, so what ships on the day may differ from what is listed here, and dates can move.

Summary

This release adds two things members and staff have both been asking for. Members will be able to withdraw money from their own phone, and your institution will be able to decide what its documents say and how they look. Behind that sits a substantial piece of accounting work: figures that did not carry across to V2, a new reconciliation report, and transactions that no longer wait on the books.

Highlights

Members will be able to withdraw from their own phone. Withdrawal will work through the member app and through USSD. A member who can already deposit without help will be able to take money out the same way, instead of coming to a branch.

You will decide what your documents look like. Loan, savings, share and fixed deposit documents will be configurable, so the paperwork carries your institution's wording and layout rather than a fixed template.

Transactions will stop waiting for the books. The accounting entry will be separated from transaction processing. A member's transaction completes, and the ledger entry follows behind it.

A new reconciliation report will map opening balances. The report compares CAMS and accounting for a year you choose, so the two can be reconciled without building the comparison by hand.

Also improving

Accounting

  • Accounting figures affected by the move to V2 are being corrected. This covers a chart of accounts showing zeros, missing accounting data, and equity amounts that were not reflected.
  • The UMRA report and the AMFIU PMT tool are being added to V2.

Loans and transactions

  • Quick loan repayment will work over USSD, with collections and fees handled in the right wallets.
  • Inter-branch transactions are being fixed.
  • Penalty charges will apply once a day, not more.
  • Group accounts will produce a statement.

Members and sessions

  • Sessions will hold instead of ending after about fifteen minutes.
  • The All Transactions screen will show the account name properly rather than N/A.
